1. For our discounted and free sessions for people with Cancer, please read the letter we sent out below.  Once funding is secured, we intend to expand this to people with PTSD, Brain Injuries, Parkinson’s and Fibromyalgia.

We want to let you know that after a few equipment failures due to overuse, something we are extremely proud of,  we are reopening our hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions for people with cancer at Lincoln Wellness Hub.

As many of you know, we’ve always been committed to providing these sessions free of charge whenever we can, because we genuinely believe in the difference they can make during and after treatment.

At the moment, however, we haven’t yet secured external funding. Until we do, we are continuing to run these sessions by covering the costs ourselves, including equipment, staffing, and travelling in from Saxilby to open specifically for these appointments.

It took some time to register as a Community Interest Company and set up banking so we can apply for funding, and to be completely transparent, our new unit was a significant investment, and standard sessions are now priced at £55, which is still considerably lower than most providers, as some of you may have experienced elsewhere. (no judgments)

We are not changing what we do—but until funding is in place, we are asking, if you are able, for a donation towards your session.

• If you can’t contribute, you are still welcome
• If you can contribute something, it helps us keep this going
• If you can pay without crying when your bank statement comes through, then please pay; it helps someone else access treatment.

This is not a typical business model—and that’s intentional. But to keep supporting people properly, we do need to cover the basics and keep the doors open.

We’re currently working hard to secure funding through our Community Interest Company so we can return to offering these sessions fully funded again. Its a new area for us so please bear with us, or if you can help, please get in touch.
